Biographical data:

Born in 1990 in Vilnius. Completed a bachelor’s degree in archaeology at Vilnius University in 2014 and a master’s in archaeology in 2016. From 2015 to 2019, worked at the Archaeology Department of the National Museum of Lithuania as a senior curator. In 2022, defended a doctoral dissertation, “Fortified Settlements in the Eastern Baltic Region, 1100–400 cal BC.” Has conducted archaeological research since 2015, including on the islands of Lakes Aisetas and Galuonis, and at the Antilgė, Garnių I, and Mineikiškės hillforts, among others.

Main research areas:

Behavior and economy of prehistoric societies, specializing in the archaeology of the Eastern Baltic from the Bronze Age to the Early Roman period. Research is focused mainly on settlements, ceramics, archaeometallurgy, subsistence, and diet.
