Biographical data:
In 2003, she graduated with a bachelor's degree in archaeology from the Faculty of History at Vilnius University, and in 2006, she completed her master's studies. From 2006 to 2012, she studied in a joint doctoral program at Klaipėda University and the Lithuanian History Institute. On October 26, 2012, she defended her doctoral dissertation in humanities on the topic 'Lake Settlements in the Southeastern Baltic Region during the Early Metal Period.' From 2013 to 2015, she was a research fellow at the Department of Archaeology at Vilnius University. Since 2016, she has been working as a researcher at the Institute of Baltic Region History and Archaeology at Klaipėda University. Since 2015, she has been a senior laboratory assistant in the Archaeology Department of the Lithuanian Institute of History.
Main research areas:
Underwater archaeology, wetland archaeology, the Bronze Age, Early Metal period, lake settlements, wetland settlements.
