Biographical data:
Born in 1991 in Vilnius. In 2015, he completed a bachelor’s degree in archaeology at the Faculty of History of Vilnius University, and in 2017, a master’s degree. Since 2020, he has been a doctoral student at the Lithuanian Institute of History. The dissertation in preparation is titled “Short-term Middle–Late Mesolithic settlements and activity sites: structure and function,” supervised by Dr. Gytis Piličiauskas (LIH).
Main research areas:
Internal structure of Stone Age settlements; Technology and function of Stone Age flint, bone/antler, and ceramic production; Typology of ceramics and the beginnings of ceramic production; Settlement archaeology.
