Biographical data:

Born on October 1, 1976, in Vilnius. In 1999, he completed a bachelor’s degree in archaeology at Vilnius University, and in 2001 a master’s degree. On February 29, 2008, he defended a doctoral dissertation in the humanities: “The Flint Industry in the Southeastern Baltic, 2900–1700 BC, based on Research on Ground Flint Axes.” In 2008–2010, he was a junior researcher at the Archaeology Department of the Lithuanian Institute of History; in 2012–2014, Head of the Archaeology Department and researcher; since 2018, senior researcher.

Main research areas:

Stone and Bronze Ages of the Southeastern Baltic region.
