Summer Interview Series with Dr. Arvydas Grišinas on LRT Klasika Radio

A new summer interview series has launched on LRT Klasika Radio, hosted by Dr. Arvydas Grišinas, a researcher at the Lithuanian Institute of History, Department of Ethnology and Anthropology. Every Wednesday at 3:05 PM, he speaks with Lithuanian anthropologists, aiming to introduce a broader, non-specialist audience to the discipline of anthropology and its most compelling topics and stories.

The conversations explore not only the researchers’ fields of study but also seek to highlight their relevance in today’s world. The show touches issues of migration and identity, global challenges, and the cultural practices of everyday life.

In the first episode, Dr. Arvydas Grišinas interviews Dr. Ieva Jusionytė, professor at Brown University, about state borders, the paradoxes of their protection, migration, and humanitarian crises in border regions. It’s a timely and thought-provoking discussion about boundaries — both political and human.
