The Lithuanian Institute of History and the National Museum – Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania cordially invite you to submit proposals for the 25th International Academic Conference “Between the Baroque and the Enlightenment: The Grand Duchy of Lithuania in the 18th Century.”

The conference will take place on December 3–4, 2026, in Vilnius. Conference languages: Lithuanian and Polish (simultaneous interpretation).

We cordially invite historians, literary scholars, art historians, philosophers, musicologists, researchers in science, culture, and education, museum professionals, and scholars from other fields and disciplines to participate in the conference. Please send your proposed topics and brief 3–4 sentence abstracts to the conference coordinators by June 30, 2026.
