On June 26–29, the Lithuanian Institute of History organized a summer school for doctoral students in Druskininkai, aimed at strengthening the academic competencies of young researchers.

Participants took part in theoretical and practical classes on preparing academic publications, analyzing archival sources, and applying digital humanities methods, GIS, and databases in historical research. Funding opportunities for research programs and the specifics of project preparation were also presented.

The summer school provided an opportunity to deepen knowledge, establish new contacts, and share experiences.
